The McClain
Alumni Association was formed preceding the 1999
All-class Reunion and has received tremendous support from
alumni all over the world. Since its inception it has
instituted several programs to better the educational
climate at McClain and the Greenfield schools. The
Association recently awarded its forth Alumni Scholarship
and has begun an awards program that recognizes both
outstanding students and teachers in the system. If you haven't yet become a member
your financial support and, if possible, participation
would be greatly appreciated. Audra Cook Bolender is the
current president and may be contacted at
audra3131@yahoo.com
for membership information. |

Don't you think it would be nice to
begin including photographs along with these alumni biographies?
So, if you would like to email me your class photo, current photo,
photo of you and your family or you and your spouse in a .jpg
or .gif format I'll include them along side your
biography. This would be a good opportunity to update your
biographical information also! Sent your photos to, biophotos@highland-ohio.com

NEW:
Andrea Head Wilson, Class of 1986, Hello everyone. I guess
you could say I'm definitely a Greenfield girl at heart...I
NEVER LEFT! I currently live at 523 McClain Avenue in
Greenfield. I went to college for about a year and a half at the
Ohio University Branch in Chillicothe, so I still lived at home
at that time. Then, I met Jimmy Wilson...he moved down here from
Dayton in 1985. I quit college, and started working for
Greenfield Printing and Publishing, so Jimmy and I could get
married in 1988...and of course, we lived in Greenfield. When I
found out I was going to have my first son, I decided to go back
to college...and graduated from Wright State University with a
bachelor's degree in secondary education in 1995...still living
in Greenfield and driving back and forth for college. I worked
as a math teacher for East Clinton High School (I drove from
Greenfield) for 8 years...and now, believe it or not, I'm back
at McClain High School (I took over Dale Schraw's job in 2006).
I have 2 sons, both of which attend school in Greenfield...Jacob
is now a junior and Tommy is in the fourth grade. Jimmy and I
didn't last...we got divorced in 2004, but we're still good
friends. And since then, I have been concentrating on my kids
and my career. I am currently finishing up my master's degree in
educational leadership from Dayton University...anticipated
graduation date is Summer 2008! I would love to hear from
everyone.

UPDATE:
Tracy Cooper-Reveal, Class of 1989, Thanks to Marsha O
for reminding me to update my BIO! In the past 6 years, we've
expanded our family to include a beautiful little girl named
Halle Elizabeth (11/05). Big Brother Cole and his posse of
sports fanatic friends have her spoiled already! Keeping up with
all of them (despite wearing INDIAN garb) has been fun and keeps
us very busy! I'm still working with Ohio Dept. of Rehab &
Correction, so if I happen to see you while on-the-clock, I do
hope you're an employee! I've given up adjunct work to consult
for various federal and other corrections agencies. That's meant
lots of travel to some cool places, but it's always best to come
back to Highland County! Hello to all my 1989 - soon to be 20
years - alumni friends! Hopefully we'll all be able to get
together in '09.

Debbie Varner Miller, Class of 1984,
Well I was checking out the site. Got to reading my bio from
three years ago and decided it was time for an update. I still
live in Georgia, I don't see that ever changing. I remarried in
2003 to Kevin Miller. So my new brother in law is Brad Everhart
*laughs* he hasn't changed none. My children have grown and time
has went by very fast. Michelle never married. She was in an
abusive relationship and finally when she was ready called me
and she has been free for two years. She has two girls, Hollee
will be two in November and Destiny will be four. My son Greg is
in the Marines and stationed in NC, did one tour in Iraq and
hopefully for my sake he will not go back. That was the hardest
year I have spent in my life. No matter how old they become they
are still your children. He recently had me a Grandson, my first
boy, Payton was born August 30, 2007. Amber entered 9th grade
this year and Benjamin entered 2nd.
Michelle has recently moved in with her boyfriend which is an
hour a way, but she has a good man this time and I see her life
changing. The girls adore Randy and all I can say is. Thank
God... I thank him for giving her the courage to walk away. So
many leave in body bags. I have zero tolerance for two
things..one violence and two drugs. My sister Sherry Varner
still lives in Newark, Ohio and her daughter is a senior this
year. Meg is growing like there is no tomorrow. My parents, like
myself growing older. They still live in the hills of WV and we
go home as much as we can. My new step children Kylie and Tyler
are great kids. There mother Melissa has done an awesome job. my
new contact email is
debbiewtl@bellsouth.net or I can be reached at
debmiller30830@hotmail.com I do have a myspace with
picture's but it is set at private. Hope all are doing well and
enjoying life. 1/30/08 |
