Plum Run Prairie is a tall-grass prairie in Adams County, Ohio--a profusion of every color of wild flower in it's glory each Autumn. The prairie colors are rich at sunset...but impossible to capture in a vast landscape. To describe the energy and emotion one feels in the midst of so much color, I chose the hottest and happiest colors in my palette!! This is one piece I absolutely could not paint sitting down. I hope it makes you happy too!
