Welcome to the personal website of Larry Chapman, aka Amateur Radio Station, NE8V. I hope you find something of interest to you. Take your time browsing around and please, come back often. I've also attempted to make this a sort of family page for both my immediate and extended families. So, if you're family and have some stories or photos you want to share with your kin folks send them to me.

Ran into Farmer Bob (Bob Blue) at an auction yesterday. He looks and sounds just the same as last I saw him years ago. Said he's totally retired, flying RC aircraft as well as a full-size Piper. Still owns every piece of radio equipment he ever owned but hasn't been on the air for several years. I can't remember how long I've been off the air but I'm sure it's been over 10 years. The only piece of radio equipment I still own is an Icom 2-meter mobile that I use on the marine bands and to listen to the weather channels. Cell phones and the Internet have left little need for ham radio.

It has been three years since I updated this site and I have a ton of photos, etc. to upload but lack any desire to do so. I only got on today because I'm trying to find a photograph of my 1997 Camaro. Thought I may have posted a few photos of it on this site but no such luck.

Better way to keep up with what I'm doing is to visit my site at www.greenfield-ohio.com or on www.facebook.com. Email is now: greenfieldohio@gmail.com.

If you have any genealogical information to add please email me. I'm especially interested in personal recollections, stories and photos about our ancestors. I hope you enjoy this addition.
